Claudia Cerulo

Claudia Cerulo is a postdoctoral researcher in Comparative Literature at Università Mercatorum on a project on AI and comics. She previously worked at the University of Naples on the project PANIC – Post Apocalyptic Narratives in Italian Culture. She holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Bologna. Her forthcoming monograph, Auditory Perception in Twentieth-Century Self-Narratives: Oto-bio-graphical Subjects (Bloomsbury 2025), examines the connection between auditory perception and the formation of subjectivity and identity in 20th-century autobiographical literature, drawing a parallel between poststructuralism and the decentered subject in self-narratives.
