Pedro Moura

Pedro Moura is an independent scholar, comics critic, scriptwriter, and curator based in Lisbon. He holds a PhD from the University of Lisbon and KU Leuven, and is the author of Visualising Small Traumas: Contemporary Portuguese Comics at the Intersection of Everyday Trauma (Leuven University Press). He has been writing criticism about comics, illustration, animation, and image-text relationships since the early 2000s, and is co-founder of Tinta nos Nervos, a Lisbon bookstore-gallery specializing in drawing arts and comics.
