By plane: Stockholm Arlanda Airport (ARN) is the main international hub, approximately 40 minutes from central Stockholm by Arlanda Express train. Uppsala is a 40-minute train ride from Stockholm Central Station.

By train: Stockholm Central Station is well-connected by high-speed rail across Sweden and from Copenhagen (via Malmö). SJ trains connect Stockholm and Uppsala every 15–30 minutes.

Stockholm local transport: KTH is served by the T-bana (metro) — Tekniska högskolan station on the Red Line. A 24-hour SL travel card is recommended.

Uppsala local transport: Uppsala Central Station is a 10-minute walk from the main university campus.
